1 min read | August 12, 2024

The Cávado Intermunicipal Community (CIM Cávado) and its six municipalities are preparing the Social Diagnostics and the Social Development Plans (SDP) for the 2024–2030 period, in a process that counts on the technical support of Rittma.

This work has a strategic importance, as it allows for the identification of the region’s main social needs and the definition of intervention priorities, in a coordinated way among the municipalities of Amares, Barcelos, Braga, Esposende, Terras de Bouro, and Vila Verde.

The process is coordinated by the Social Policies Unit of CIM Cávado, ensuring intermunicipal coherence and the integration of different social dimensions, always in close cooperation with municipal services and local partners.

Rittma’s contribution focuses on methodological structuring, support for the participation of local entities, and the technical drafting of the documents, ensuring that the Social Development Plans reflect the specificities of each territory while at the same time reinforcing a shared vision for the Cávado Valley.

Through this process, CIM Cávado and its municipalities strengthen their commitment to participatory, innovative social policies aligned with the challenges of 2030, promoting both social and territorial cohesion.

Rittma is proud to stand alongside public entities in this journey, bringing its expertise in territorial development and public policies to the design of strategies that generate real impact in communities.
