PÓVOA DE LANHOSO
The ongoing initiative to train workers in safe skills and behaviors regarding exposure to cyber risks, both in personal and professional contexts, included another Cybersecurity workshop promoted by Rittma, aimed at institutions in the Social Sector.
On May 18, 2022, a session was held at the Maria da Fonte Interpretive Center, sponsored by the Municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso. The event was opened by the Vice-President of the Municipality, Dr. Fátima Moreira, and brought together participants from eight institutions from the public and social sectors of Póvoa de Lanhoso.
The relevant and cross-cutting theme of the session fostered strong engagement from the participants, and the training evaluation revealed great satisfaction with Rittma’s approach to the topic.
BARCELOS
With the aim of equipping workers with the skills needed to adopt safe behaviors when facing cyber risks, two Cybersecurity workshops were held in Barcelos for Social Sector institutions. The events were sponsored by the Municipality of Barcelos and supported by the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Barcelos, which hosted the sessions in its auditorium.
The workshops gathered 58 participants from more than 20 social sector institutions in Barcelos. The sessions were opened by the host, Dr. Márcia Soares from SCMB, together with the Municipality’s Councillor for the Social Sector, Dr. António Ribeiro.
The strong participation enabled dynamic and interactive sessions on a theme that is both relevant and transversal to the daily life of organizations.
